Frequently asked questions.

Do you accept Medicare?

At Ascend Hormone Care, we provide care on a private, cash-pay basis. Because of federal Medicare rules, we are not able to see or treat patients who are enrolled in Medicare at this practice, even if you wish to pay out-of-pocket.

We know this may be disappointing, and we encourage Medicare beneficiaries to seek care with providers who are able to bill Medicare directly. If you would like assistance finding a provider who participates in Medicare, please feel free to reach out to us by email — we’ll be happy to help connect you with appropriate resources.

Do you offer in person visits?

To make care more accessible and convenient, all visits are offered through secure telehealth appointments. In-person visits are not currently offered.

What do we support? (What We Do)

Your hormonal health journey is unique, and we're here to walk alongside you. Whether you're navigating PMDD, perimenopause, or menopause, we’re here to help. We also address related concerns like fatigue, weight changes, sexual health, bone health, and offer personalized hormone therapy when appropriate.

What Should I Expect?

Your first visit is a 60-minute telehealth appointment designed to give you time and space to feel heard. Once you register, you’ll receive an intake form so we can get to know you before we meet.

During your visit, we’ll talk through your symptoms, work together on a diagnosis, and decide if any labs, testing, or prescriptions—including HRT—are right for you. If needed, medications can be sent to your local pharmacy. We prescribe FDA-approved hormone replacement therapy (HRT), which can be sent to your local pharmacy and is often covered by insurance or available at an affordable cost.

We value collaboration and work alongside your primary care provider or gynecologist to ensure you feel fully supported.

How much does a visit cost?

New telemedicine visit: 60 minutes $399
Follow-up telemedicine visit: 30 minutes $199

What States Do You Serve?

We currently see patients in Colorado.

Do You Accept Insurance?

We don’t bill insurance directly, but we make it easy for you to get reimbursed. After your visit, you’ll receive a detailed superbill if you desire—a type of medical receipt—that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. You’re also welcome to use an HSA to cover the cost of your visit.
